the Endangered show, a 3-person show with artists Kevin Margitich and Michelle Knowlen at Bluebottle Art Gallery & Store in seattle will open january 2. it has been pretty sad to work on this - disheartening doesn't come close, SO many species to choose from. but awareness is good, right? and i've seen a preview of Kevin & Michelle's work - both have treated the subject beautifully and thoughtfully, & it's good fun to see the differences.i'll donate 10% of my take to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, which will make a nice change from what prompts my usual giving-to-them habit, which is really only when i bring in an injured party. last time it was a pigeon.
