i like you, that super-awesome minneapolis shop of locally crafted objects, is now carrying some things, hooray! my brother nick designed a calendar & 'greeting cards' for me, and i like you is selling these, as well as some really tiny original paintings.

cafe wren

i'm late in updating this blog like crazy! the show started 1 month ago and will be up until the end of december. cafe wren is the sweetest little restaurant. it's in an old farm house in luck, wi - a pretty drive from the cities, and worth it, food-wise. i highly recommend the tomato basil soup, it had melty chunks of cream cheese in it, mmm. the owners are very conscious of using local, seasonal ingredients, so it might not be on the menu if you visit, but based on what i've seen you won't go wrong with any other choice.

minnehaha coffee

paintings are now up at minnehaha coffee, at 46th & minnehaha. thanks to my agent scott (that's just a joke - he isn't really my agent) for getting me in touch with jeff, the owner, who i thank very much for having me.

i had a very good iced tea there the other day, called Sports Tea, which inspired me to try to make sun tea at home. that sun tea experiment did not turn out anything but bitter, so i will abandon my attempts & just go back for that Sports Tea that tastes good, instead.

this blog is not for talking about morels, but i couldn't help it when i saw this picture still on the card. it is pretty tough to see the season end, i tell you. i need that the romulans to take me up to next may, please.
